“Addicted to Love” Legs
This is what I was looking for last week when I was searching for something to put on the site. It’s not new, I know, but it’s still cool in my book.
It’s a motion-tweened, rotoscoped pair of lady’s legs from Robert Palmer’s “Addicted to Love.”
I made it a couple years ago, hoping to do something bigger with it, then got distracted and forgot about it. I lost the original Flash file in a fatal hard drive crash awhile later, but luckily had the exported animation backed up on an external hard drive.
Always back up your data, folks. More later.
My Room, Two Years Ago
I found this on my hard drive while looking for something to update the site with. It’s a scrolling image of a 360 panoramic of my old room, in the apartment before the apartment before my current apartment.
In other news, I am, as of the beginning of this month, now a college graduate. I’ve got a new apartment, a new kitten, and a new list of things to work on, including a new site design for the P! Company, a sketch comedy group from Austin.

Well, folks, Tommy and the Tommies was last night, and I think I’d deem it a success. There were a couple mess-ups and we barely got the tech working, but I think it all worked out.

This is from YouTube’s new Insight feature, which uses lines and graphs to confuse me. Apparently, my “Juice” video is crazy popular in France… or something…

I’m not sure what I should do with all of this fame. Maybe I should buy some sunglasses or something.
Fake G&M iTV Commercial
Here’s a fake* commercial I made for my Interactive TV class. I edited the images in Photoshop then animated them in After Effects. The voiceover is pretty horrible; I just used my laptop’s built-in mic. Oh, well. You can’t have everything.
The images were gleaned from morguefile.com and were taken by (in no particular order) Saffrodite, missyredboots, Slartibartfast, cohdra, xandert, gracey, jeltovski, hotblack, kevinrosseel, jpkwitter, and Jusben.
* Fake, in that we were experimenting with a new TV interface, and G&M was one of the companies allowing us to use their namesake in our test assets. We got no money from their “sponsorship.”
